<p>Production facilities often receive business from their corporate headquarters. In some cases, they are challenged to meet unreasonable goals due to a lack of support from corporate operations. Strategy deployment (Hoshin Kanri) clearly defines the importance of “catch-ball” when deploying goals from the top to every frontline associate. This concept also applies to cascading performance expectations from the corporate headquarters to each respective production site.
